What a Ceramic Coating Does for Your Vehicle
A ceramic coating bonds to your factory clear coat and forms a hard, slick layer your paint doesn't have on its own. That layer takes the abuse instead of your finish — UV, pollen, bug splatter, bird droppings, road film. Water sheets off instead of clinging, dirt has less to grab onto, and washing stops being a chore.
On our Pro and Pro+ packages we refine the paint before anything gets applied, so the coating locks in a cleaned-up finish instead of sealing over swirls. You get depth and gloss that hold for years rather than washing off with the next round of soap.
It's the right move on a new vehicle you want to keep clean from day one, and just as strong an upgrade on something you've owned a while and want to bring back.

Three levels, built around how long you plan to keep the vehicle and how far you want to take the finish. Every installation is warranty-backed and reported to CARFAX. Final pricing is set after an in-person inspection, since vehicle size and paint condition both affect the work involved.

Ceramic Coating FAQ's
What determines the cost of a ceramic coating?
Three things: the size of the vehicle, the condition of the paint, and which coating tier you choose. Paint condition is usually the biggest factor, since the prep work needed to get a finish ready can vary widely from one vehicle to the next.
That's why we quote in person rather than over the phone. Paint condition can't be judged from a description, and a number given without seeing the vehicle is a number that changes later.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Two to seven years of warranty coverage depending on the package. Ultra Shine carries a 2 year warranty, Pro carries 5 years, and Pro+ carries 7 years, and every installation is reported to CARFAX so the work shows on your vehicle history.
The higher tiers use silicon carbide chemistry rather than the silicon dioxide found in most consumer products, so they hold up without booster sprays or topper products. An off-the-shelf ceramic spray typically lasts six to twelve months. We'll walk you through which level fits your vehicle at the inspection.
Does ceramic coating prevent scratches and rock chips?
No. Ceramic coating is scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof, and it will not stop rock chips. It resists light swirls and wash marring, but deep scratches, door dings, and stone impacts go straight through it.
If physical impact protection is the goal, paint protection film is the right product. Coating handles chemical and environmental damage; film handles impact. Plenty of vehicles get both.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
Usually yes, and on most vehicles it's the majority of the job. A coating locks in the paint exactly as it sits, so any swirls or haze underneath stay visible for the life of the coating.
This applies to new cars too — dealer washes and transport handling leave marks on low-mileage vehicles more often than owners expect. Our Pro and Pro+ packages include a shine enhancement polish to refine the finish first, and we'll tell you at the inspection if your paint needs more than that.
Is ceramic coating worth it?
For most owners, yes, especially if you're keeping the vehicle more than two years. You stop buying wax, washing takes far less effort, and the paint holds its appearance and resale value instead of degrading.
It's a weaker case on a lease you're returning within a year, or if you're expecting it to stop rock chips. The longer you plan to own the vehicle, the better the math works.
